Dry Socks at the End of the Trail.

Snow gets in. It slides down into your boot. It melts. Now your socks are wet and cold, and you still have miles to go.

These gaiters wrap your boot top and your shin. A strap goes under the boot. A cord pulls the top snug. Snow, mud and sand stay out.

What you get: One pair of DriftPeak leg gaiters, left and right, in the color you pick. One size, about 40 cm (15.75 in) tall.

Our 30-day promise: If a strap, buckle, hook or the side flap fails within 30 days, email us a photo. We will make it right with a refund or a new one.

Shipping: Free. Arrives in 5 to 10 business days.

Out in deep snow or cold all day? WeatherTrek Pro is made of tougher 620D nylon and has a warm fleece option.

White and brown gaiters on hiking boots with snowy mountains behind

✓ Made for snow days. Deep snow, slush or a day on the slopes. You stay dry. You keep going.

✓ Tall on your shin. They reach high up your leg. Snow cannot sneak in over the top.

✓ Lots of colors. Go bright so your group can spot you. Or pick dark or camo.

Close-up of the buckle strap running under a hiking boot, labeled Easy to adjust

✓ A strap under the boot. Pull it snug with the buckle. The gaiter stays put.

✓ A hook up front. It grabs your laces. The front will not ride up.

The Long Walk Back in Wet Socks

You are two hours into the snow. Each step sinks to your shin.

Snow packs into the top of your boot. It melts. Your toes go cold. Then they go numb. All you can think about is the car.

Now the gaiters are on. The snow piles up on the cloth, not in your boot. Your socks stay dry. You look up and enjoy the view.

Light gray gaiter opened to show the hook-and-loop flap and black lower panel

✓ Opens top to bottom. Wrap it on over your boots. Press the flap shut. No need to take your boots off.

✓ A cord at the top. Pull the cord and lock it. The top hugs your leg.

Black DriftPeak gaiters marked 40 cm tall and 45 cm around the top

✓ One size. About 40 cm (15.75 in) tall. The top is about 44 to 45 cm (17.3 to 17.7 in) around.

DriftPeak leg gaiters shown in nine colors, each pair on hiking boots

✓ Rain, wind and snow. The maker says they keep out rain, snow and wind. Your pants stay clean too.

I thought they were the model that really holds up to water, but they don't. The one below is the one that does resist water, and the one above is the one that doesn't hold up to water.

They were tested in the snowy mountains of the Andes and they worked well 👍🏼

I think it was a good purchase, firm seams, good height, covers mid-calf, firm support, doesn't slip down. It arrived ahead of schedule due to combined delivery, which is the best option for me.

I bought something a while ago that was the right size, but it turned out to be a bit small, so I purchased this one, which was listed as larger.
The result was just the right size.
Thin, lightweight, and highly portable, it repels water effectively.
The width of the Velcro tape is wide. I think it's very good.

They look great and work very well in the mountains.

I bought 3 types, these were cheapest but my least favourite. But, they are fine for the price. Seems good thickness, fits multiple people. They are quite wide so good for bigger legs compared to others! I wish they had elastic in the middle though to fit a little more to leg shape and as they are not tight to shoes at bottom to stop any mud travelling up. Haven’t tested outside yet.

Looks good and matches the design. The size isn't very wide, so if you have wide legs, it might be difficult to wear. The fabric is thin but seems to be waterproof, which is okay.
Delivered very quickly, packed in a bag.

They arrived super fast, I'll use them in the snowy conditions.

Received the fabric. The color and material look good, but I can't try it out yet to see if it works. Also not sure about the Velcro and straps for securing it.

Received the fabric. The material looks good and the color is also fine, as shown on the sales page. You secure it with Velcro and a strap. No idea if that works well. We'll have to try that out later.

I like that they adjust at the top with rubber and at the bottom with tape. They look good. I think they have a good quality/price ratio.

It arrived 5 days after ordering. I was surprised by how fast it arrived. It's easy to wear because it uses a magic tape closure, which is helpful.

I recommend snow boots - legs, boots, pants below the knee protected from snow.

S

They have good waterproofing.

K

Good value for money. It's not for winter use, but it can protect legs during weeding and prevent grass from entering shoes.
