An absolute bad purchase! Waste of money
This product does not live up to what the description promises at all. Anyone who wants to use it as binoculars or a night vision device will be sorely disappointed. Every modern smartphone delivers better images than this device. Cheap plastic.
I cannot recommend this product to anyone. The money has been completely wasted here.
I bought 2 x night vision units of different brands and quality, this unit being the more expensive of the 2 units. Construction is nice and solid, the unit has very good specifications and functions, which are easy to navigate and use, i ordered the 64gb variant, and the unit came with a quality tf micro sd card installed in the expansion slot.
Overall the unit feels good to use, it also has photo mode, in colour and low light mode, the same functions in selectable video modes and an easy memory recall/view files feature mode to check your results.
If i had to complain about one thing, it would have to be the limitation of the tf micro sd card expansion slot, being 64gb, where as the other cheaper unit i purchased was capable of expansion to a whopping 512gb.
This unit delivers lovely results and overall, worth the money spent to acquire it.
Ii would rate the nocs a strong 3+ stars. For $75 - great deal.
The nocs are pretty good. The field of view is not very wide at shorter distances, and it is fixed. So at a distance lets say of 50m you are getting a decent field of view(about 100ft? ), but at anything closer than that distance then you have a tunnel vision effect. Even when the digital zoom is maxed out you get the field of view i was describing.
So that is a trade off, but the ir illuminator is quite strong.... (uhhh don't look into the emitter) and sort of agree with the product description that it probably could illuminate up to 200m +? In perfect atmospheric conditions. For hobbyist and hunting that will do fine. I was able to see a rabbits eyes reflecting back at 100ft. I took a picture of a coyote trotting down my street, and the photo is blurry but that is because you really need to hold the nocs very steady when you depress the capture button, and the ir illuminator was at the low 1st position setting.

The image quality is good, the ability to see the surroundings is quite comfortable for someone with good vision, but it requires some getting used to - it's not a binocular.
