You left the trail. Now your friends are far off on the next ridge. You yell. You wave. The wind eats your voice.
Hold this small mirror up to your eye. Catch the sun. Look through the hole and aim the flash right at them. A bright wink of light.
What you get: One signal mirror on a black cord with a slide lock and a whistle, in the size you pick.
Our 30-day promise: If the mirror cracks, the shiny face peels, or the cord snaps within 30 days, email us a photo. We will make it right with a refund or a new one.
Shipping: Free. Arrives in 5 to 10 business days.
Want a second way to call out? Add our Dual Tube Safety Whistle to your pack.
✓ Aim it with your eye. A hole in the middle lets you see where the flash goes. You point it right where you want.
✓ The steps are on the back. How to aim it is printed on the mirror. No guessing when your heart is racing.
✓ Wear it on a cord. Hang it on your neck or your pack. A slide lock snugs the cord.
✓ A whistle on the cord. Use it when they are close enough to hear.
✓ No batteries. It runs on the sun. It never goes dead in your pack.
The fog came in fast. When it lifts, you are alone. Your group is a row of tiny dots on the far ridge.
You shout. Nobody turns. Your chest gets tight. Your mind runs to the worst. The sun is getting low.
You pull the mirror off your pack. Line up the hole. Flash, flash, flash. One of the dots stops. Then it waves both arms. You let out the breath you were holding.
✓ Two sizes. A 57 mm square or a 7.5 by 5 cm card. Both fit in a shirt pocket.
✓ Fits in your hand. Small and flat. Keep one in every pack and every car.
Arrived quickly. Looks like it can be used in survival situations. Since it's made of plastic, I think it's not likely to break easily.
Sturdy construction, light and easy to use. this is a good item to have in your pack anytime you go hiking. better to have one than not., and maybe get a spare to keep in the car if you ever go 4wd.
